New Life Mac is a Czech e-shop, but refurbished technology often makes sense for customers across borders. That's why we have expanded and streamlined shipping for selected European Union countries. The goal is easy selection in the shopping cart, fair pricing based on parcel weight and a carrier that provides customers with tracking and clear delivery information.
We have included Zásilkovna / Packeta, PPL, and DPD in European shipping. Each carrier is strong in different areas: sometimes home delivery works better, sometimes a pick-up point, and for some shipments, weight, size, or destination country are decisive. Therefore, only options relevant to the specific order will be displayed at checkout.
Why this is good news for EU customers
- you can order refurbished technology even outside the Czech Republic if shipping to your country is available in the cart,
- shipping cost is calculated based on the country and weight of the parcel,
- for suitable orders, you can choose between home delivery and pick-up points,

What is important for refurbished technology
A laptop, Mac mini, adapter, or disk is shipped differently than a monitor, desktop, or workstation. During European shipping, the parcel is on the road longer and passes through more hubs. Therefore, for more expensive and fragile technology, we mainly focus on a sturdy outer box, filling, corner protection, and space around the device. The goal is for the product to arrive in the same condition as it leaves us.
For bulky computers, monitors, and server setups, there may be fewer options in the cart than for small accessories. This is not an error but a protection for both the customer and the shipment. When standard parcel delivery doesn't make sense, we prefer a safer approach.
How to choose European shipping
- I want the simplest home delivery: choose addressed delivery via PPL, DPD, or Zásilkovna, if available for your country.
- I want cheaper or more flexible pick-up: for smaller parcels, look for a pick-up point or locker.
- I'm ordering to a neighboring country: Slovakia, Germany, Austria, and Poland are usually the most natural logistical routes.
- I'm ordering a heavier computer: availability is governed by weight and dimensions, so the checkout will only show realistic options.
- I'm ordering outside the EU: for countries like Switzerland or Norway, customs regulations may come into play, so availability is assessed separately.
Transparently: what the cart shows, applies
European shipping has more variables than shipping within the Czech Republic. The price is affected by the destination country, weight, dimensions, and whether the carrier offers home delivery, a pick-up point, or a locker in that destination. Therefore, the last step of the order is the most important: after entering the address, currently available services and the final price will be displayed.
If you do not see the shipping you would expect for a specific order, the reason is usually a carrier limit or package size. In such a case, please contact us, and we will try to find the safest option.
